Junior named for the ninth time in her career, second this season
Veronika Kedronová was named Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week following her performance at the UCF Challenge, Presented by PDI. The honor marks her second weekly award of the 2025–26 season and the ninth of her career at Kent State.
Kedronová led the Golden Flashes at the UCF Challenge, finishing even-par (216) across 54 holes to post the lowest score in Kent State's lineup. After steady play early in the tournament, she navigated a challenging stretch late in Round 1 before responding with consistent scoring over the final two rounds.
On Monday, Kedronová recorded five birdies in Round 2 and opened Round 3 with five birdies over her first seven holes, playing her final 32 holes at four-under par. That response was highlighted by her play on No. 13, where she followed a double bogey in Sunday's opening round with birdies on the same hole in both Round 2 and Round 3.
For the tournament, Kedronová totaled 13 birdies, nine bogeys, and two doubles, anchoring Kent State's lineup throughout the event.
Earlier this season, she also earned Golfer of the Week honors following her victory at the Canadian Collegiate.
