COLUMBUS, Ga. – Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel Women's Golf junior Veronika Kedronova added to an already decorated season on Tuesday, earning one of the twenty places on the first spring watch list for the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel, as announced by the Haskins Foundation.
Kedronova's selection comes after one of the most prestigious honors in women's amateur golf, as she accepted an invitation in January to compete in the 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur. She also opened the spring with a top-10 finish and a top-20 showing, helping cement her place among the top 20 collegiate golfers in the current Clippd rankings.
Presented annually since 2014, the ANNIKA Award honors the top female Division I collegiate golfer. Named for Annika Sorenstam, the award was created in partnership with the Haskins Foundation as the women's counterpart to the Haskins Award, which recognizes the top male Division I collegiate golfer. The winner is selected by players, coaches and members of the college golf media.
The recognition is the latest milestone in a standout year for Kedronova. During the fall, she captured back-to-back individual titles at the Canadian Collegiate and Landfall Tradition. At Landfall, competing in a field that featured five top-25 teams, Kedronova claimed medalist honors by seven strokes and set a new program record for lowest 54-hole score at 13-under-par 203, surpassing the previous mark of 204 set by Pimnipa Panthong at the 2016 Jim West Invitational.
Across 17 rounds this season, Kedronova has recorded five rounds in the 60s, 10 rounds at par or better, four top-10 finishes and a career-low 7-under-par 65 in the second round of the Landfall Tradition.
The next update to the ANNIKA Award Watch List will come out following the conclusion of the Conference Championship Season, announcing the top 15 on the list. The Final Watch List will come out on May 15th, announcing the top 10 finalists. The finalists will be honored at The Grand Blanc on May 20th in Carlsbad, CA, just before the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships.
