Golden Flashes to make first-ever trip to Notre Dame Stadium
KENT, Ohio — Kent State Athletics announced today that the Golden Flashes football program has scheduled a game at Notre Dame on Saturday, October 2, 2027.
The game will mark the first-ever meeting between Kent State and Notre Dame.
Kent State will travel to South Bend to face the Fighting Irish at Notre Dame Stadium, which has hosted college football since 1930 and is one of the most iconic venues in the sport.
The Flashes open the 2026 season at South Carolina on September 5, and return home the following week for the home-opener versus Wofford on September 12. Season tickets for the 2026 season are available now at KSUtix.com.
