
Kent State Athletics Earns Silver at 2025-26 NACMA “Best Of” Awards for Year-Over-Year Revenue Increase

Golden Flashes Recognized Nationally for 17.8% Growth in Total Ticket Sales Revenue
KENT, Ohio — Kent State Athletics has been named a Silver Award winner in the Year-Over-Year Revenue Increase category at the 2025-26 NACMA "Best Of" Awards, the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators announced. The honor recognizes the Golden Flashes for an outstanding 17.8% increase in total ticket sales revenue over the previous year.
"This recognition is truly a full-team effort across our marketing, ticketing, and communications teams," said Suzette McQueen, Deputy AD, External. "We created predictable systems and established measurable goals that drove our success. I'm proud of what we accomplished together and excited to see where we go next year."
Remarkable gains across multiple sports programs drove the growth. Men's basketball and wrestling each saw ticket revenue jump 120.2%, while track & field posted an extraordinary 162.1% increase. Football revenue climbed 22.7%, and gymnastics grew 20.7%, reflecting broad-based momentum throughout the department.
The NACMA "Best Of" Awards celebrate excellence in collegiate athletic marketing and recognize programs that have demonstrated measurable success in fan engagement, revenue generation, and overall marketing innovation.
