
Five Kent State Teams Represented on CSC At-Large Academic All-District® Teams

KENT, Ohio – Eleven Kent State student-athletes from five different teams have received At-Large Academic All-District® honors, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on Tuesday.
Men's wrestler Blake Schaffer earned the recognition for the third year in a row, while Ethan Barr (men's wrestling), Zayda Crumpton (lacrosse) and Veronika Kedronova (women's golf) were repeat recipients of the honor.
First-time honorees were Charlie Behner (gymnastics), Nico Calello (men's wrestling), Morgan Halli (lacrosse), Darcy Hogg (men's golf), James Newton (men's golf), Leon Takagi (women's golf) and Anna Zucconi (lacrosse).
The CSC Academic All-District® teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in their respective sports and in the classroom. In order to be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore athletic status and be starter or key reserve while maintaining at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
