
Kent State Women’s Golf Places Five on Academic All-MAC Team

KENT, Ohio — The Kent State Dr. Paula Treckel women's golf program has earned five spots on the Academic All-MAC Team, the league announced. To qualify, student-athletes must carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 and have participated in at least 50 percent of scheduled contests. First-year students and transfers in their first year of residence are ineligible.
Junior Veronika Kedronová leads the group with a perfect 4.000 GPA in Finance. The back-to-back MAC Golfer of the Year and 2026 U.S. Women's Open qualifier adds the academic honor to a decorated junior campaign. Senior Leon Takagi (Professional Studies, 3.612) and sophomores Aryn Matthews (Finance, 3.420), Gracie Larsen (Psychology, 3.377), and Petra Babicova (Psychology, 3.267) earned honors.
