Kent State Announces Coach Carney Live From Water Street Tavern on Wednesdays

KENT, Ohio — Kent State football fans will have a new way to learn more about the Golden Flashes football program this season as Coach Carney Live premieres Wednesday, September 2, live from Water Street Tavern in downtown Kent.
Hosted by the voice of the Golden Flashes, Dane Richardson, the one-hour show will take place every Wednesday throughout the football season at 6 p.m.
Fans can attend the show in person at Water Street Tavern or watch live on YouTube. The show will also be available to listen to on the Kent State Sports iHeart channel.
Each week, fans will have the opportunity to interact with head coach Mark Carney, hear from Kent State players and coaches, and get insight on the previous week's game, the upcoming opponent, and the latest developments around the Golden Flashes. The show will also feature a variety of entertaining segments throughout the hour.
The Golden Flashes open the 2026 season on the road at South Carolina, on September 5, at 12:45 p.m. Eastern. Season tickets for the 2026 season are available now at KSUtix.com.
