Kent State Soccer Announces 2026 Promotional Schedule

Kent, Ohio– The Kent State Soccer Team has announced its promotional schedule for the 2026 season with exciting fan engagement in store. Select dates of games will have a specific theme for the day as well as a fan giveaway for most themes while supplies last.
Before the start of the home regular season slate on August 13th, fans will have a chance to see the Flashes in action on Saturday, August 8th at 1 P.M. as they host the Mercyhurst Lakers for a scrimmage at Zoeller field at Dix Stadium.
Thursday, August 13th, 7 P.M. vs. Cleveland State- "Home-Opener"
The Golden Flashes will open up their 2026 campaign at home at Zoeller field at Dix Stadium. Make sure to come out to see the Golden Flashes for the first time in the regular season.
Sunday, August 23rd, 1 P.M. vs. Kansas- "Back to School Kickoff"
Help us celebrate the new semester beginning with students back on campus. Make sure to get there early as the first 100 fans will receive Kent State pennants to show off their school pride!
Thursday, September 3rd, 6 P.M. vs. Oakland- "Military Appreciation"
The Kent State Soccer team will honor those who protect our freedoms in the armed forces with Military Appreciation Day.
Sunday, September 6th, 1 P.M. vs. Cornell- "Senior Day"
The Flashes will celebrate the senior class who has left their mark on the program before the game on Senior Day against the Big Red of Cornell.
Sunday, September 20th, 1 P.M. vs. Miami(OH)- "Youth Day"
Help us celebrate the youth in our community as local youth clubs will be in attendance. Fans who get there early will receive Kent State Soccer Pit Vipers at the gate while supplies last. After the game, fans will be able to meet the squad for a postgame autograph signing.
Thursday, October 1st, 7 P.M. vs. Western Michigan- "Faculty/Staff Appreciation"
The Flashes will honor the faculty and staff that have left an impact on them in the classroom. They will present their "Most Valuable Professors" in celebration. The first 100 fans will receive Kent State Soccer tumblers.
Thursday, October 15th, 7 P.M. vs. Ball State- "Cancer Awareness"
The Kent State Soccer team will spread awareness of breast cancer in their game against the Cardinals. There will be a powder blue scarf giveaway for fans while supplies last.
Sunday, October 18th, 1 P.M. vs. Bowling Green- "Powder Blue Out"
Wear your powder blue in support of the Flashes. The first 200 fans at the game will receive powder blue Kent State Soccer jerseys at the gate.
Sunday, October 25th, 1 P.M. vs. TSDTR- "Beach Day"
It's a Beach Party in late October in Kent, Ohio! Cheer on the team as they take on the school down the road while the first 200 fans will receive Kent State Soccer bucket hats.
