Michaela Skinner Wins MAC Goalkeeper of the Week After an Undefeated Weekend

KENT, Ohio – Kent State goalkeeper Michaela Skinner won MAC Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Skinner went 2-0 in the net this past weekend with a shutout victory over Central Michigan and a four-save performance in Sunday's win over Bucknell.
The fifth-year graduate transfer from Chesapeake, Va. posted a save percentage of .857 and lowered her goals against average (GAA) from 2.61 to 2.09 on this season. Her season's save percentage also increased to .691 with the two victorious performances. Skinner ranks 4th in the Mid-American Conference in GAA and is one of five goalies in the conference with a shutout this season.
