2008-09 Junior Season
Indoor Track and Field - Did not compete.
Outdoor Track and Field – Distance of 52’-5.50” in the shot put throw at the Campbell-Wright Open was the team’s best of season.
2007-08 Sophomore Season
Indoor Track and Field - Ranked 25th nationallyin the shot put with a toss of 58’-10.5” at the MAC Championships…thatthrow enabled him to be selected as the recipient of the MAC MostOutstanding Men’s Field Performance…his championship winning toss alsoearned him All-MAC First Team honors in 2008…had the top nine distancesin the shot put for the Golden Flashes.
Outdoor Track and Field - Qualified for the 2008 NCAA Division I Mid-East Regionals when he won the 2008 MAC Championship in the shot put with a distance of 59’-3.5”…accorded All-MAC First Team honors for his performance…placed fourth in the discus at the conference championships with a toss of 163’-3”…had a season-best toss in the discus (169’-0”) at the Duke Invitational…received NCAA Division I All-Mid-East Region honors when he placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 57’-8.25”…had a season-best distance in the shot put (60’-0.5”) at the Jesse Owens Classic…also recorded the top eight performances in the shot put for the Golden Flashes.
2006-07 Freshman Season
Indoor Track and Field - Placed third in the shot putwith a toss of 54’-6-3/4” at the Kent State Tune-Up meet (2/17)...had aseason-best in the shot of 55’ 3-1/2” at the MAC Championships (2/23-2/24).
Outdoor Track and Field - Finished 22nd in the hammer throw with a mark of 53’-2 ¾” at the NCAA Division I Mideast Regional...threw 55’-5 ½” in the shot put at the MAC Championships…placed sixth (55’-7 ½”) in the shot put and threw the discus 152’-3” for ninth at the Campbell-Wright Open...finished 14th at the Drake Relays in the shot put with a toss of 53’-9 ¼”...placed sixth in the shot put with a toss of 55’-3 ¾” and 10th in the hammer with a throw of 154’-11” at the All-Ohio Championships...won the shot put at the Akron Quad meet with a mark of 50’-10 ¼”...took ninth at the Arizona State Invitational in the shot put with a throw of 54’-6”.
Prior to Kent State
Transferred to Kent State after spending a year-and-a-half at the University of Findlay...won the OHSAA State Track and Field title in the shot put with a throw of 61’4-3/4”...won Sandusky Bay Conference titles in the shot and discus his junior and senior seasons...capped his senior year with titles in the shot and discus at the district level and finished as the regional runner-up in both events...also lettered three times in football for Port Clinton...lettered all four years for coach Phil Fought.
