Member of the 2005 regional championship team at Unioto High School…helped lead the Shermans to district championships in 2005 and 2006…also was a key member of UHS’s three consecutive (2005, 2006, 2007) Scioto Valley Conference Championships teams…district champion in the discus as a sophomore and junior…regional champion in the discus and shot put as a junior…had best finish at the Ohio State Track and Field Championships when he placed fourth in the discus and ninth in the shot put…four-time All-SVC selection in the discus and two-time honoree in the shot put…established personal-bests in the discus (173’-4”) and shot put (57’-8”) as a senior…lettered in track and field four times, football twice, and basketball once for the Shermans…served as class president at UHS.
