2008 Redshirt Junior Season
Made an immediate impact in his first season with the Golden Flashes, starting four of the 12 games he appeared in at defensive back...compiled 38 tackles (20 solo) and an interception...picked off a pass on Sept. 13 against Delaware State in addition to making four tackles...recorded eight stops, five of them solo, on Oct. 11 against Ohio...posted eight tackles on Nov. 18 against Northern Illinois.
2007 Junior Season
Sat out per NCAA guidelines after transferring from Kentucky.
Prior to Kent State
Spent 2005-06 seasons at Kentucky...team captain for Wildcats against Georgia in 2006 after being named special teams player of the week after posting five tackles on six kickoffs against Mississippi State...earned a spot on the 2006 SEC Academic Honor Roll...coached by Rich Brooks...four-year letterwinner at East Jessamine High School...amassed 386 tackles (208 solo), 3,015 rushing yards, 1,271 passing yards and 53 touchdowns over high school career...named District Player of the Year, made Kentucky All-Star Team and was named East Jessamine MVP after totaling 104 tackles (60 solo) and setting school records with 1,600 rushing yards, 1,008 passing yards and 28 touchdowns...also set school record with 443 all-purpose yards in one game...coached by David Hensley...earned one letter in basketball.
