Blake Yunker joined the Golden Flashes football staff in the summer of 2021 as the program's video coordinator.
As video coordinator, Yunker oversees the program's DV Sport network software. He oversees the filming and breakdown of all practice and game footage and helps coordinate a film exchange with opponents. He also manages a group of student workers to assure that all practices and games are filmed and saved properly. Yunker also manages the video budget and the travel associated with all filming and video equipment.
Yunker comes to Kent State from Temple University where he served as the Owls' video coordinator for two seasons. Kent State is Yunker's second stop in the Mid-American Conference, as he was part of the 2018 Northern Illinois program that captured the MAC championship.
A graduate of Concordia University at Ann Arbor, Yunker got his start in college football working with the Cardinals' staff. He served as a student assistant in football operations and recruiting for four seasons.
Blake married his wife Madison in 2021 and they reside in the Kent area.
