Bryan Bing enters his second season at Kent State as a defensive graduate assistant.  Bing works with all aspects of the defense with an emphasis on the defensive line and linebackers.
Prior to Kent State, Bing served as running backs coach at Heidelberg University in 2016, where running back Bryan Lacey earned all-conference honors.
Bing also served as a student assistant at his alma mater, Methodist University in North Carolina. Helping with the linebackers, the monarchs won a 2013 USA South title. Â
As a player at Methodist, Bing was a four-year letterwinner and three-time all-conference selection.  A D3Football.com all-region selection, he ranks third in program history in career tackles with 316. Bing was also named to the USA South All-Academic Team.
A Bradenton, Florida native, Bing is pursuing a master's degree in sport and recreational management at Kent State.
