Dan Conwell joined Kent State in the summer of 2018 as a defensive graduate assistant. Conwell served as a student manager for four seasons at Bowling Green (2014-17), working primarily with defense. The Falcon staff and players included Sean Lewis, Tom Kaufman, Andrew Sowder and Matt Johnson.
Conwell was a part of the 2019 staff that saw one of the greatest seasons in Kent State history. The Golden Flashes earned their first bowl win in program history with a 51-41 win in the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl.
During the spring of 2018, Conwell was an offensive quality control coach for Houston Baptist University, working with wide receivers.
Conwell graduated from Bowling Green in December of 2017 with a degree in sports management.
