Eron Hodges is in his second season at Kent State, serving as defensive graduate assistant. Hodges biggest concentration will be with the linebackers.
During the 2012 season, Hodges was the inside linebackers coach Valparaiso, before joining Ohio State's strength and conditioning staff in the offseason. He worked under Mickey Marotti, one of the most prominent names in the strength and conditioning field.
In 2011, Hodges worked on the strength and conditioning staff at Notre Dame. His strength and conditioning experience began at Illinois State, where he also spent two seasons working the Redbirds secondary.
Hodges competed in football and track & field at the College of DuPage, where he was a member of the 4x100 meter NJCAA national champion relay team. Prior to DuPage, he spent four years in the United States Navy.
A native of Joliet, Ill., Hodges earned a bachelor's degree in excercise science from Illinois State in 2012.
