Matt Battaglia joined Kent State in January of 2018 as an offensive graduate assistant.
Battaglia was a guard at Northern Illinois from 2010-13. He was a part of two Mid-American Conference championship teams with the Huskies, including four consecutive MAC West Division titles and an Orange Bowl appearance.
Born in Chicago, Battaglia attended Marist High School where he served as a team captain and earned all-conference honors as senior.
