- Had a seasonal best throw of 51' 9.75" in the Shot Put at Mid-Amerocan Conference Championship
- Had a seasonal best throw of 48' 3.25" in the Shot Put at Mid-American Conference Championship
- Had a seasonal best throw of 143' 8" in the Discus at Virginia Invitational
- Had a seasonal best of 199' 5" in the Hammer at Jesse Owens Classic
2012 - FRESHMAN YEAR
INDOOR
• Recorded the squad's fourth-best mark in the weight throw with a 61'-06.00" to finish second at the MAC Indoor Championships, which ranks sixth in school history
• Posted season-best mark of 48'-11.00" in the shot put at the Kent State Tune Up
• Recorded a throw of 48'-00.00" in the shot put to finish fifth at the MAC Indoor Championships
PRIOR TO KENT STATE
• Two-time OHSAA State Meet champion in the shot put, also owns state meet record
• Also took fifth in discus in 2010 and fourth in 2011 at state competition
• New Balance All-American in 2010 (outdoor) and 2011 (indoor)
• First-team all-district
• Academically, was the class valedictorian and National Honor Society member
• Ohio VFW Female Scholar Athlete of the Year
• Also lettered in volleyball, was a first-team all-district and all-conference honoree
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Jay and Linda Leppelmeier
• Father Jay was her track coach in high school; he also was a football player at Defiance College
• Has two younger sisters, Becca and Molly
• Majoring in exercise science
