Rett Lister, joined the Kent State men’s basketball staff in May of 2023 as a graduate assistant. Lister is a Easley, South Carolina native, and a graduate of Furman University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Education.

He spent his last 4 years as a walk-on for the Paladin basketball team, under head coach, Bob Richey. In his senior year, his team advanced to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.

Chad Lister, Rett’s dad, has been the head coach at North Greenville University for the last 20 years. Rett looks forward to growing, learning, and winning on his own coaching journey with the Flashes.
