Prior to Kent State

Threw all four seasons for the track and field team at Valley High School under throwing coach Jeff Dunham…was honorable mention All-Ohio his senior season and was first team All-Southern Ohio Conference his junior year…had career best throws in the shot put (56’-1.75”) and discus (163-3) his senior year…also played football for the Valley Indians and was first team All-SOC his senior year.

Born March 17, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio…son of Craig and Margaret Crabtree…has one younger brother, Bo, who is in his freshman season with the Kent State track team…was a member of the National Honor Society at Valley High School…also was a volunteer at elementary schools and various charities…majoring in criminal justice.
