Was a four-year letter winner at Valley High School under throwing coach Jeff Dunham…was All-Ohio his junior and senior seasons in the shot put…was All-Southern Ohio Conference and all-district his senior year in the shot put and discus his senior year while he won a SOC title in the shot put and discus his junior year…had career bests of 54’-5” in the shot put and 157’-4” in the discus…was also a three-year letter winner in football for the Indians…was named All-Ohio his senior year while he was All-SOC and all-district his junior and senior seasons.

Personal

Born April 30, 1991…son of Craig and Margaret Crabtree…his brother, Aaron, is a redshirt sophomore on the Kent State track and field team…was in the National Honor Society at Valley High School…was named All-Ohio academic his junior and senior years…volunteered for the Special Olympics…majoring as an intervention specialist.
