• Posted team's best decathlon point total of the 2011outdoor season with 6,677, which ranks seventh in school history.Also recorded the squad's second-best pole vault of the outdoorseason with a mark of 14'-07.50".
• Recored the team's best heptathlon point total of the2010 indoor season with 4,981.
• Posted the team's second-best decathlon point total ofthe 2010 outdoor season with 5,534.
Prior to Kent State
• Earned four letters in track for Jay County HighSchool under head coach Greg Garringer
• Won sectional championships in the 400 meters hissophomore and junior seasons
• Also won sectional titles in the high jump and long jumpwhile taking 19th in the long jump at the Indiana State High SchoolTrack Championships his sophomore year
• Set a school record in the 400 meters (49.8) his junioryear
• Received All-Olympic Athletic Conference honors hisjunior and senior years in the 400 meters and his freshman seasonin the high jump
• Helped his team to a sectional championship his senioryear
• Also earned three letters in football and one inbasketball for the Patriots.
