2008-09 Junior Season
Indoor Track and Field – Named Most Outstanding Track Performer at the MAC Championships as the team captured the first indoor title in school history…member of distance medley relay team that qualified for the NCAA Championships and finished 15th in 9:42.61…was also part of the DMR squad that set the school record in the event in 9:32.05 at the Alex Wilson Invitational…was the MAC champion in the 400-meter dash with a 47.90 finish, the team’s top time of season in the event…posted the team’s second-best finish of the season and took third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.47 at the MAC Championships, the sixth-fastest time in school history…member of the 4x400-meter relay team that clocked a 3:11.06 at the Tyson Invitational, the second-fastest in school history…won the 400-meter dash at the Akron Dual in 48.41…won the 200-meter dash at the Kent State Dual with a time of 22.08…member of the 4x400-meter relay team that won at the Kent State Dual in 3:16.39.
Outdoor Track and Field – Was named the Co-MAC Most Outstanding Performer at the conference championships…qualified for the NCAA Mid-East Regional in the 200 and 400-meter dashes…competed in the 400-meter dash at the regional, clocking a 48.46 in the preliminaries to finish 20th…member of the distance medley relay team that broke the school record with a time of 9:45.31 at the Drake Relays…captured the MAC title and regionally qualified in the 200-meter dash with a 21.33-finish, the fastest of the season for the team…also earned the conference title and regionally qualified in the 400-meter dash with a career-best time of 46.97, the team’s fastest of the season…won the 400-meter dash at the Northeast Ohio Quad in 48.28…member of the 4x400-meter relay team that won the event in 3:16.40 at the Northeast Ohio Quad.
2007-08 Sophomore Season
Indoor Track and Field - Crowned as theMid-American Conference champion in the 400 meters at the 2008 MACChampionships with a time of 48.84…received All-MAC first team honorsfor his performance…also placed fourth in the 200 meters with a time of21.89 at the conference championship meet…recorded a season-best time of 21.88 in the 200 meters at theAkron Invitational…ran a season-best time of 47.91 in the 400 meters at theAkron Dual.
Outdoor Track and Field - Finished third in the 400 meters at the 2008 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a season-best time of 48.13…placed seventh in the 200 meters with a time of 22.05 at the same meet…ran the anchor leg of the Golden Flashes’ 4x400-meter relay team that finished second at the MAC Championships with a time of 3:14.73.
2006-07 Freshman Season
Indoor Track and Field -Established a career-best in the 400 meters (47.47) at the LastChance Meet at Notre Dame University...turned in a time of 48.13 in the400 meters to claim runner-up honors at the MACChampionships...finished fifth at the MAC Finals in the 200 meters witha season-best time of 21.71...crowned champion of theDoug Raymond Invitational with a 49.40 clip in the 400 meters.
Outdoor Track and Field - Helped 4x400 meter relay team place 12th at the NCAA Division I Mideast Regional with a time of 3:10.89... named to the 2007 All-Mid-American Conference First Team...won the men’s 400 meter dash at the MAC Championships in 46.79 seconds...also placed third in the 200 meters (21.17) and took part in the 4x400 relay to aid KSU’s second-place finish in 3:09.97...clocked a 47.20 to win the 400 meters at the Campbell-Wright Open.l.
Prior to Kent State
Crowned OHSAA Division II State Champion for Akron Buchtel in the 400 meters, 4x200 relay and 4x400 relay...finished his title run in the 400 meters in 47.86...member of Buchtel’s 4x200 squad which broke an OHSAA Division II record, finishing in 1:26.18...helped lead the Griffins to the 2006 OHSAA Division II Team Track and Field Championship...won four letters for the Griffs in track and field and three more in football...was coached by John Scott.
