2008-09 Freshman Season

Indoor Track and Field – Posted the team’s second-best pole vault of the season and tied for first place with a 16’ mark at the Akron Open…finished fifth at the MAC Championships in the pole vault with a height of 15’-9”…won the pole vault with a 15’-7”-mark at the Kent State Dual.

Outdoor Track and Field – Owner of the team’s best pole vault of the season with a 16’-0.75”-mark at the MAC Championships where he took fourth.

Prior to Kent State

Crowned as the Ohio state, regional, district, and city champion in the pole vault as a senior…also crowned as a regional, district, and city champion while finishing fourth at the Ohio State Track and Field Championships in 2007…won a district championship as a sophomore…member of 2008 regional, district and city runner-up teams at Whitmer High School…also member of 2006 District and City Championship teams at WHS…career-best in the pole vault is 15’-4”…four-year letter winner at Whitmer.
