2008-09 Freshman Season
Indoor Track and Field – Won the MAC title in the pentathlon with 3,997 points…also captured MAC gold in the triple jump with a leap of 40’-3.50”, the team’s best mark of season in event…also owned the team’s top long jump of the season with a distance of 18’-10.75” at the Akron Dual.
Outdoor Track and Field – Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the heptathlon where she piled up 5,382 points to finish 15th…owner of team’s top marks in the high jump (5’-7.75, NCAA Championships), long jump (20’-1.50”, Jesse Owens Classic), and triple jump (40’-3.25”, MAC Championships)…named Outstanding Performer of the MAC Championships after winning the triple jump in addition to winning the heptathlon with 5,429 points, shattering the school record she previously set…she also took fourth at in the long jump at the conference championships…in her previous school record in the heptathlon came at the Drake Relays where she posted 5,350 points and was the top-collegiate finisher by taking third place overall…earned MAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week honors for her performance at the Drake.
Prior to Kent State
Won a championship in the long jump (2008) and the heptathlon (2007) at the Balkan Championships…crowned as the Romanian National Champion in the heptathlon, pentathlon, and long jump in 2007 and 2008…finished 11th at the 2008 World Junior Championships in the heptathlon in Poland…placed 12th at the 2007 European Junior Championships in the heptathlon in the Netherlands…personal bests in the heptathlon (5,455 points), pentathlon (4,069 points), and long jump (6m-09cm or 19’-9”).
