Earned four letters under Paul Lushes at Highland High School…set five school records while running for the Hornets…was a part of four relay teams that qualified for the Ohio High School State Championships…helped Highland win a pair of district championships in 2006 and 2009…was a Suburban League champion in the 400 meters and the 4x400 meter relay team her senior year…recorded career bests of 25.9 in the 200, 56.8 in the 400 and 2:16 in the 800 meter…was named All-Gazette all four years of high school…qualified for nationals with Speed for Sports.

Born Feb. 24, 1991…parents are Linda and Dan Hutchings…has a sister, Brooke, on the track team and a younger brother, Michael…was a member of National Honors Society and Student Council while in high school…graduated with honors from Highland…also volunteered at a nursing home…participated in gymnastics for nine years when she was younger…is majoring in nursing.
