2008-09 Freshman Season

Indoor Track and Field – High jump of 5’-1.75” at the Kent State Dual was a season personal best.

Outdoor Track and Field – Recorded the team’s second-best high jump of the season with a leap of 5’-5” at the Campbell-Wright Open.

Prior to Kent State

Recipient of an All-State Academic Athletic Award as a senior at Strongsville High School…placed third in the high jump with a leap of 5’-7” at the 2008 Ohio High School Track and Field Championships…established personal-bests in the high jump (5’-7”) and 200 meters (26.31) in 2008…earned four letters in track and field for the Mustangs.

Born Aug. 28, 1990…daughter of George and Rebecca Thomas…earned her black belt in karate at age 14…majoring in broadcast journalism.
