Prior to Kent State

Lettered in track and field at Warren G. Harding High School under coach Charles Penny…helped the Raiders win their first regional championship in 2009…also a member of the record-setting 4x200 relay team…was All-Ohio for indoor (third in the 60 meter hurdles) and outdoor track (sixth in the 110 meter hirdles) his senior season…was also all-region and All-Steel Valley Conference…finished All-Ohio at the indoor championships his junior year…holds the school record in the 55 and 60 meter hurdles.
