2008-09: FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in all 29 games, starting six...ranked second in the MAC in three-point shooting (.442) and fourth in three-pointers per game (2.34)...ranked fourth in the nation in three-point field goal percentage (minimum 2 per game)...her 68 three-pointers made were the second most in school history and ranked 47th in the nation...was the team’s leading scorer off the bench averaging 8.4 points per per game...made six threes in a game three different times during non-conference play, which ties for fifth place in school history for most threes in a game...is the only player in school history to make six threes in a game more than twice in her career...recorded career-highs of 21 points and five rebounds in win at Cleveland State (Dec. 6)...went 12-for-19 from behind the arc in two-game span at Cleveland State and Vermont...matched career-high of 21 points in win over Miami (Feb. 22)...led team with 11 points in 16 minutes off the bench in MAC Tournament quarterfinals (Mar. 13)...made all 13 of her free throw attempts...closed out the season going 16-for-30 from behind the arc...led Flashes in scoring six times, including four outings of 20 or more points...grabbed career-high five steals in collegiate debut against Youngstown State (Nov. 15).
PRIOR TO KENT STATE
Helped lead Hiland High School to three state championships (2005, ’06, ’08)…is the 25th former Hiland player to compete at the college level…three-time All-Ohio selection…Hiland’s all-time scoring leader with 1,643 points, surpassing previous girls and boys marks…scored 16.1 points per game as a senior in addition to 4.8 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 steals…named Division IV state tournament MVP and Daily Record Player of the Year in 2008…totaled 18 points per game during her junior season on the way to garnering All-Ohio First Team and Eastern District Player of the Year accolades…all-state special mention and state tournament all-star team member as a sophomore…earned spots on the All-Inter-Valley Conference, All-Eastern District and All-District 5 first teams in three seasons…broke school record for career three-pointers…coached by Dave Schlabach at Hiland a perennial Division IV powerhouse.
