2008-09: JUNIOR SEASON
Played in 26 of the team's 29 games...turned her game up a notch toward the end of the season, pulling down a career-high seven rebounds on Feb. 28 at Bowling Green...went 3-for-3 from the field March 4 against Buffalo, adding four rebounds and two steals...in her last four contests Odhiambo averaged 14.3 minutes per game...totaled 17 rebounds in last three regular season games...earned team’s Most Improved award...blocked shots in three games...totaled seven points, two rebounds and two steals in win at New Orleans (Dec. 28), going 2-for-3 from the field and 3-for-4 at the line.
PRIOR TO KENT STATE
Averaged 10 points and 8.5 rebounds in only year at Jacksonville College in Texas and coached by Lynn Nabi…helped the Jaguars to a 19-13 finish and a Region XVI playoff victory…played basketball at Pangani Girls High in Kenya…also competed in netball (similar to basketball) in high school, serving as a goalkeeper.
