• The 137 wins is a Thunderbolt school record
• Named first team All-Great Western Ohio Conference and first team all-area his junior and senior seasons
• Also qualified for the Ohio State Wrestling Championships his junior and senior seasons
• Was coached by his father while at Northmont
• Thunderbolts won two GWOC championships while he was in high school
