• Finished 21-17 in first season in starting lineup with five pins and three major decisions
• Defeated MAC champion Conor Beebe in dual meet with Central Michigan
• Claimed fourth place at MAC Championships
• Went 2-2 at Southern Scuffle, Oklahoma Gold Classic and Virginia Duals.
2008-09
• Was redshirted
• Finished the season 8-2 at the 141-pound weight class
• Won the 141-pound title at the Michigan State Open (11/9).

• Compiled a 165-24 record at Walsh Jesuit
• Placed at state all four years of high school, including a state championship his senior year
• Was a National High School Coaches Association champion his senior year
• Helped the Warriors to two third place finishes in the Ohio High School Association State Wrestling Championships
• Was coached by Bill Barger at Walsh Jesuit
• Was a member of M & M Wrestling.
