Prior to Kent State: A two-time NCAA Tournament qualifier at Delaware State, winning a pair of East Regional titles...was ranked as high as ninth at 149 pounds during 2008-09 season...went 16-2 last season with 16 straight victories...was named Delaware State's Male Student Athlete of the Year for the 2008-09 year...won a 149-pound title at the Wilkes College Invitational as a freshman at Delaware State...was a three-time state champion at Caesar Rodney High School...earned all-region honors in three straight seasons and finished with a career record of 132-23...was a member of four state championship teams and four Henlopen Conference championship teams...was also a varsity pole vaulter in high school.
