2009-10: Earned an automatic qualifying spot to the NCAA Championships...placed second at the Mid-American Conference Championships with a 4-1 mark...finished fourth on the team in victories with 28...went 23-9 in tournament competition, including a victory at NCAA Championships...placed third at the Body Bar Invitational with a pair of major decisions...finished third at the Oklahoma Gold Classic with a 5-1 record...placed sixth at the Hokie Open with a 6-2 mark, beginning the season at 157 pounds...totaled four major decisions, one technical fall and one pin...went 4-2 at Southern Scuffle...defeated No. 20 Matt Epperly of Virginia Tech, igniting the Flashes' comeback victory over the Hokies at the Virginia Duals...named to Academic All-MAC Team.
2008-09: In his first full season, finished with an 18-16 record and a 3-2 record in Mid-American Conference duals...ended the season with one technical fall and one majpr decision...finished fourth at 157 pounds, earning his only technical fall of the year in wrestlebacks against John-Martin Cannon 16-0...won six-straight matches from Jan. 10-Feb.7...finished fifth at both the Oklahoma Gold and the Body Bar Invitational (11/8 and 11/22), respectively.
2007-08: Was redshirted.
Prior to Kent State: Compiled a 155-32 record at Brookfield, winning more than 30 duals every season as a Warrior...was an OHSAA State Wrestling Championships qualifier his final three high school seasons, including a seventh place finish his junior season and a runner-up finish his senior season...was named the East Ohio Wrestling League Wrestler of the Year in his senior season...named to the First Team All-Trumbull County every year in high school.
