Miles Garrison joined the Kent State Athletic Communications staff as a graduate assistant in August 2024. He is the sports information director and primary media contact for Kent State field hockey, gymnastics, men’s golf, and women’s golf. Additionally, Miles is a primary statistician for Kent State football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball.
Miles graduated Summa Cum Laude in August of 2024 from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s in sport management with a minor in public relations and specific communication. In the 2023-24 athletic year, Miles worked as a student assistant with the Texas Tech Athletic Communications staff, serving as the secondary media contact for Texas Tech women’s golf in the Spring of 2024.
A native of McKinney, Texas, Garrison began pursuing his master’s degree in business administration from the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Kent State University in the Fall of 2024.
