Kent State soccer’s Kristen Brots (Naperville, Ill.) is this week’s Hometown Bank Student-Athlete of the Week. Brots recorded the Golden Flashes' first goal of the season in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Canisius. Brot’s met a cross in to the box from teammate Jaime Eiben with her head and beat the Canisius keeper. Her goal shifted the momentum in favor of the Golden Flashes who would add two more goals in the second half to earn their first win of the season.
