Womens Golf Finishes 10th at Lady Puerto Rico Classic

Freshman Tara Delaney (Carlow, Ireland) shot a par 72, her best round of the tournament to finish tied for fourth. Delaney finished the tournament with a 75-75-72=222.
Senior Gabby Wedding (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington) also turned in a top 10 finish, after her final round 73 pushed her to a sixth place finish and finished the tournament with a 77-74-73=224. Wedding entered the final round tied for 14th and jumped eight spots with her 73.
Aubrun led from start to finish, winning the tournament with a 299-297-292=888, more than 20 strokes ahead of second place Texas Christians 304-301-304=909.
Auburns Diana Ramage won the tournament with a 76-71-69. Her 69 today was the best round of any player at the tournament.
The event was hosted by Purdue and held at the Dorado Del Mar Golf Course, a par 72, 6,033-yard layout.
