Ha Named MAC Golfer of the Week

Kent State freshman honored for solid performance in collegiate debut
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Jennifer Ha, a freshman on the Kent State women's golf team, was named the Mid-American Conference golfer of the week, the conference office announced Wednesday (Sept. 21).
Ha, a native of Calgary, Alberta, had a stellar performance to begin her collegiate career. Ha shot a team-best 224 to tie for fourth overall at the Mary Fossum Invitational, hosted by Michigan State Sept. 17-18. The Golden Flashes finished tied for fourth overall as Ha vaulted from a 12th place tie through two rounds with her one-over 73 on Sunday.
Kent State will be back in action Oct. 3-4 at the Windy City Classic, hosted by Northwestern University.
