Kent State's Road Trip Takes Southern Swing

THE GAME
Kent State (1-2) continues on their five-game road trip as they play at Arkansas State (2-1) Friday night (Nov. 22) at 7:00pm CT and at Belmont on Sunday (Nov. 24) at 3:00pm CT.
The Golden Flashes fell 46-65 in their last contest to Cincinnati. They kept pace in the first half, finding themselves down only 29-32 at halftime. However, Kent State struggled in the second, making just five field goals in the second twenty minutes to lose the game. Larissa Lurken and Amber Dunlap were the only Flashes to reach double digits in scoring, netting 11points and ten points, respectively.
Kent State has one previous meeting with Arkansas State and has never faced the Bruins of Belmont. Against the Red Wolves, the Golden Flashes have one win that came in a 67-63 victory in Decmeber of 2002. Both teams are coming off losses; Belmont will face Purdue on Friday (Nov. 22).

Kent State will play Houston and Stephen F. Austin as part of the David Jones Classic at Houston on November 30 and December 1.
