Flashes Finish in 8th at Minnesota Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Kent State posted a 306, 18-over in the closing round of the Minnesota Invitational on Tuesday to finish the event in 8th place at 50-over through three rounds.
Jennifer Ha had the best individual finish with a 9-over performance with a 3-over on the final day to finish in a tie for 11th.
Taylor Kim and Wad Phaewchimplee tied for 14th place with a 14-over tournament. Kim shot 4-over in the final round while Phaewchimplee shot 5-over.
Raksha Phadke finished 21-over after shooting 6-over on Tuesday while Maddy Mullins rounding out the lineup with a tie for 74th after a 8-over final round.
East Carolina took home the Minnesota Invitational title by shooting 15-over. They led by 21 strokes as second place finisher Colorado shot 36-over in the event.
The Golden Flashes are back on the course at the Schooner Fall Classic hosted by Oklahoma October 4-6.
