โข Saturday's 7 p.m. home game is slated as a #VictorGame, an event to celebrate victors of cancer
โข The game will be sponsored by Akron General Cancer Center and the team will visit the hospital on Thursday morning as a lead up to the event
โข All-time leading scorer and cancer fighter Bonnie Beachy will be in attendance and will serve as the honorary coach
โข Before the game, fans can sign ribbons with the names of themselves or family members who have fought cancer
โข At the end of the game, the ribbons will be added to a banner and fans are asked to join in a postgame #VictorGame photo
Korinek in Kontrol
โข Sophomore forward Jordan Korinek has set a new career-high in scoring in her last two outings
โข Against Minnesota, she netted 22 points with seven rebounds and a 8-for-9 free-throw performance in a close battle
โข In the team's win over Malone, Korinek scored 28 with eight rebounds while going a perfect 3-for-3 at the free-throw line
โข She currently leads the team in scoring and rebounding

Non-Conference Schedule Coming to a Close
