No. 11 Kent State Travels to No. 6 Eastern Michigan for First Round Tournament Action

No. 11 Kent State will travel to No. 6 Eastern Michigan Monday night for the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
The winner will advance to face either No. 7 Toledo or No. 11 Miami Wednesday afternoon at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

Flashes' MAC Tournament History
• Kent State is looking for its first win in the MAC Tournament since March 10, 2010 when it beat Central Michigan in Cleveland in the quarterfinals, 68-55
• The Golden Flashes last reached the tournament final in 2006 where they lost to Bowling Green 64-39
• Kent State's last MAC Tournament championship was in 2002 when they beat Ball State 73-59 as the No. 1 seed after a 13-3, first-place regular conference season
