Baseball Travels to Miami for Three-Game Set

Kent State (21-16, 9-6 MAC) travels to Miami (8-29, 6-9 MAC) this weekend for a three-game conference series. Game times are scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

• Kent State is 103-77-1 all-time against Miami
• Last season, the Golden Flashes took two out of of three games at home
• The last time they visited Oxford was in 2013. Kent State swept the RedHawks that weekend.

• Through last weekend's games, Kent State leads the conference in both batting average and ERA
• All four regular starters (Lauer, Jensen-Clagg, Ravel and Skolnicki) rank in the top ten in ERA
• Conner Simonetti is tied for 2nd in homeruns and has the best slugging percentage in the conference
• Tommy Monnot is tied for 6th in homeruns, leads the conference in doubles and is 2nd in slugging percentage
