CHARDON, Ohio- Freshman Ian Holt shot 1-under par to lead the Kent State men's golf team on the second day of the MAC Championship hosted at the Mayfield Sand Ridge Club. Kent State carded an 18-hole total of 239 this afternoon to finish the day with a three-round total of 26-over 890.
"I think they played really hard today," said Director of Golf/Head Men's Golf Coach Herb Page. "They were focused all around. We had a little goal in mind that if we can at least shoot even par, or get it under, I think we had a chance. We didn't reach our goal, but we were playing really good at the turn and then went back to our old habits."
Miami remained with the lead at 6-over par 870, followed by Toledo with a 14-over par 878 and Ball State in third at 17-over 881. For complete results, click here.
