Women's Takes on Buffalo in MAC Home Opener

Kent State (3-9, 1-1) will host its first conference game this Saturday at 2 p.m. when Buffalo (9-4, 1-1) visits the M.A.C. Center.

• Kent State is 24-10 all-time against Buffalo
• The Golden Flashes lost 58-68 at home and 59-57 on the road last season

• Individually, Jordan Korinek is 9th in scoring, 8th in rebounding, 4th in field goal percentage and 7th in defensive rebounds
• Larissa Lurken ranks 11th in scoring, 10th in steals and 6th in minutes played
• Chelsi Watson is 2nd in field goal percentage
• Naddiyah Cross ranks 4th in the MAC in assists and 8th in assist/turnover ratio
• Alexa Golden is 3rd in steals
Toledo Recap
• Kent State rallied late on Wednesday night, coming back from a 15-point deficit in the 4th quarter to make it a four-point game with less than a minute remaining
• However, Toledo was able to escape with the 73-67 victory on home court
• Lurken was Kent State's high-scorer in the contest with 13 while Korinek finished with 11, Tyra James with ten
• Cross led the team in rebounding on the night with seven
• The Golden Flashes outrebounded the Rockets 41-36

• Kent State will embark on a roadtrip next week as they play Western Michigan on Wednesday and Eastern Michigan on Saturday
