
Bittinger and Geraghty Repeat All-MAC First Team Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Outside hitter Kelsey Bittinger and libero Challen Geraghty and were named to the All-Mid-American Conference Volleyball First Team for the second straight year, as the conference office announced its postseason honors on Wednesday (Nov. 16).
The juniors are the first players in Kent State volleyball history to earn All-MAC First Team honors in multiple seasons. Additionally, this is the first time the Golden Flashes have had multiple first team honorees in consecutive seasons.
Kent State (15-14, 8-8 MAC) enters the 2016 Mid-American Conference Volleyball Championship as the No. 7 seed and opens the tournament against 6th-seeded Toledo on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at Northern Illinois' Victor E.
