KENT, Ohio — Kent State looks to build upon its momentum from the final three sets of last weekend's road trip as it prepares for a pair of pivotal Mid-American Conference East Division matchups. The Golden Flashes' final three-match homestand begins Friday against Bowling Green and follows with a matchup against the nation's hottest team when Miami visits the M.A.C. Center on Saturday.
After an unbeaten opening weekend to the MAC season, the Golden Flashes (13-12, 6-6 MAC) went 0-2 the following weekend. Kent State has split its matches every weekend since with only three home dates during that span.
