Phaewchimplee Repeats as MAC Golfer of the Week

The Mid-American Conference announced on Thursday that Kent State's Wad Phaewchimplee has been named the Golfer of the Week for the second straight week for her play at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
Phaewchimplee shot even par through three rounds of the Lady Puerto Rico Classic to finish 6th in a field full of fellow top schools across the country. She started the tournament with a 71, 1-under day, followed with a even 72 then shot 73, 1-over in the final round for a 216 total. She was third in the field on par fives, shooting 4-under. Phaewchimplee now has had 27 rounds of par or better in her career and ranks second in that category in the Kent State record book.
The Golden Flashes will travel to Gainesville, Fla. to take part in the Gator Women's Invitational on March 5th and 6th.
