Kent State (24-12) will play at Schoonover Stadium on Tuesday when Bowling Green (10-25) visits for a 6 p.m. non-conference matchup.

THE MATCHUP
• Kent State is 118-67 all-time against Bowling Green
• The Flashes dropped a game at BGSU earlier this season, 9-3
• Prior to this season, Kent State is 29-6 in the matchup, dating back to 2004
• Last season, the Flashes finished conference play by sweeping the Falcons
• The Falcons were also swept in Kent in 2014
• Bowling Green is coming off a three-game series with Central Michigan where they lost the opening game 8-7, took the middle game 3-2, then lost the finale 8-2

• Joey Murray finished the weekend strong to improve to 5-0 on the season as he threw 5.2 with one run, two hits and eight strikeouts
• Four relievers all posted 0.00 ERAs and gave up only one hit total in the five-game span while pitching 2.0 innings or more: Zach Schultz, Austin Havekost, Connor Wollersheim and John Matthews
• The team's combined ERA this past week was a 2.21 while opposing batters hit just .188
