Field Hockey Adds Eight for 2017

Head Coach Kathleen Wiler and staff have announced the addition of eight student-athletes that will join the team for the 2017 season.
Recently signing their National Letters of Intent are Hailie Balachick (Binghamton, N.Y.), Ashley Bonetz (Douglassville, Pa.), Azure Fernsler (Sinking Spring, Pa.), Kylie LeBlanc (Clifton, Va.), Madeline Osgarby (Oakville, Ontartio, Canada), Shannon Reilly (Saline, Mich.), Sarah Grace Ritter (Houston, Texas) and Clara Rodriquez Seto.
Hailie Balachick
Hometown: Binghamton, N.Y.
High School: Windsor Central
Club Team: Southern Tier Storm – Broome County Field Hockey Club
Facts: Balachick lettered four years in field hockey, basketball and track & field at Windsor Central. She is a two-time all-state and three time all-league player for the field hockey program where she recorded 47 goals and 32 assist over four years.
Ashley Bonetz
Hometown: Douglassville, Pa.
High School: Daniel Boone
Club Team: X-Calibur
Facts: Lettered four years in field hockey where she was named second team all-state in her senior year. Bonetz played the role of team captain her junior and senior seasons. She recorded 30 goals and 22 assists over four years. Also lettered four years in lacrosse and one in basketball. Has participated in USA Field Hockey Futures for the last three years.
Azure Fernsler (GK)
Hometown: Sinking Springs, Pa.
High School: Wilson
Club Team: X-Calibur
Facts: Lettered four years in field hockey. As a senior she was named all-state, MVP and Berks County Player of the Year. She held a 94% save percentage and locked up 13 shutouts in her final season. In total, she recorded 37 shutouts over four years.
Kylie LeBlanc (GK)
Hometown: Clifton, Va.
High School: Centreville
Club Team: X-Calibur
Facts: Lettered four years in field hockey, averaging an .86 save percentage in her career. Leblanc was recognized as a four-year scholar athlete and second team all-conference in her senior season. Also lettered three years in lacrosse.
Madeline Osgarby
Hometown: Oakville, Ontario, Canada
High School: Abbey Park
Club Team: Field Hockey Ontario
Facts: Lettered four years where she averaged more than twenty goals a season. Held the title of team captain her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Osgarby is a member of Field Hockey Ontario who took silver at Nationals in 2016 and gold in 2015.
Shannon Reilly
Hometown: Saline, Mich.
High School: Saline
Club Team: Pinnacle Field Hockey
Facts: Four-year letter winner in field hockey where she totaled 32 goals in her career. Named first team all-state her sophomore, junior and senior seasons as well as being named scholar athlete all four years. Voted team MVP her sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
Sarah Grace Ritter
Hometown: Houston, Texas
High School: St. John's School
Club Team: Texas Pride
Facts: Two-year letter winner in field hockey where she totaled 15 goals and 14 assists. Was named all-conference her senior season and ranked in top 15 goal scorers her junior year. Also lettered two-years in track and field and one in soccer.
Clara Rodrígues Setó
Hometown: Barcelona, Spain
High School: Agora Sant Cugat
Club Team: Junior Sant Cugat
Facts: Member of the U18 Spanish National Team
